انتخبت الجزائر ،اليوم 15 ماي 2023 بلاهاي، و في شخص السفيرة سليمة عبد الحق، الممثلة الدائمة للجزائر بمنظمة حظر الأسلحة الكيميائية لتولى منصب نائب رئيس المؤتمر الإستعراضي الخامس لإتفاقية الأسلحة الكيميائية التى تنعقد بمدينة لاهاي من 15 إلى 19 ماي 2023.
و يمثل إنتخاب الجزائر عرفانا لجهودها الدؤوبة فى مجال النزع الشامل للسلاح و دورها البارز فى حفظ السلم والأمن الدوليين.
Algeria was elected today May 15th, 2023 in The Hague, and in the person of Ambassador Salima Abdelhak, Permanent Representative of Algeria to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, to take up the position of Vice-chairman of the Fifth Review Conference of the Chemical Weapons Convention, taking place in The Hague from 15 to 19 May 2023.
Algeria’s election is depicted as a tribute to its relentless efforts in the field of comprehensive disarmament and its prominent role in maintaining international peace and security.
